[stringtemplate-interest] 1, 2, and 3

I'm trying to figure out how to apply a different treatment to the last
element in a multi-valued attribute. This seems like it would be a pretty
common use case, but I haven't been able to find how to do it. The first(),
last(), and rest() family of functions seemed like it would do the trick but
unfortunately rest() includes last().
So I can do this: 1 and 2, 3.
But not this: 1, 2, and 3.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
-Ed
