[stringtemplate-interest] Map in stringtemplate

Hi,
   
  I was trying to map comparators such as > < == etc to strings as follows:
   
  operator ::= [
    ">":"greaterThan",
    "<":"lessThan",
   "==":"equals",
  ...
  ]

  every other symbol works except for things involving '<' or '>'
   
  What is the problem that prevents such mappings? thanks.
