I may be totally off but...

Not sure how ANTLR v3 helps with including correct line no in error msgs. I
thought the need to preserve lazy eval semantics (hence stuffing actions
into single lexed tokens) is what complicates the correct lineno issue.

No easy solutions exist in ANTLR v2 or v3 as far as I can tell (without
looking at the code again - this is all just from memory).
